This Summer

Spending this summer quite differently than last.
Quiet drives and hikes amongst the many shades of green and perfect evening breezes make up my weekends.
Up and leaving at any time I please to reunite with friends.
A little more manual labor.
Letting it be.
Burying a mystery.

I'm not putting a cap on this summer yet.

Hip Pop

Also, you must remember that at one time, your own father was cool. And the cars he drove were cool.

Time Travel

I wonder what it would be like to hang out with your dad when he was the same age as you are now. You'd both be the same age at the same time in his life and you'd see exactly what he dealt with when he was this age. When time travel is finally invented, I'll take that trip.

What if I Tumble?

Thanks to the prodding of Azuree, I have opened a tumblr account. I will be posting only things I create or photograph. My inspiration comes from in front of the computer, out in the woods, strolling around a city, or listening to music and there's no reason for me not to make my own inspiration.

Follow me here if you wish.

Dead Man's Will

I visit ffffound.com too much, and I've had that lyric in my head all day.

Rittenhouse Square Park

Here's another post that was denied publishing last year at the end of May. I thought of it while sitting in Rittenhouse Square Park in Philadelphia.
There was probably a reason for no capitalization. It sounded good and flowed at the time...

the park
on a sunday afternoon
a crescent bench sits alone and offers
to me it's company

the park
on a sunday afternoon
a young family strolls by with
games and laughter

the park
on a sunday afternoon
a group of kids hiding smokes from
the multitude that does not care
