After four plus years of living in Florida, I'm leaving the Sunshine State. I'll be headed to the mountains, seeking employment and lodging in Asheville, NC and catching up with family and new nephews.
I've been thinking about the pros and cons of leaving for a while now. So, naturally, I remembered everything great and everything terrible that has happened to me while here.
If you knew me when I first moved down and still know me, you'll agree that I'm a different man. I believe this vacation town has relaxed me to a great degree. It's opened my mind to new ideas that exist outside of a smaller southern town. I know I'm a more rounded person and am so glad to be that way.
Having said that, the next few post will be some Top Ten lists. Something to the effect of Top Ten Discoveries while in Florida, Top Ten Relationships (not romantic) in Florida, Top Ten Worst Events while in Florida, and so on.
Stay tuned as I cumulate my lists. Feel free to send me some ideas that you think should make it in any list.

This is fabulous...where do I begin? Okay, let's talk about the first time I met you at cstone FL -and the fact you, your bro and sis in law and friends had amazing conversations of how someone could be raised to believe the 2/4 beat of music wasn't ideal? How about our camping trip? Kickball games? How you introduced me to the most amazing show of all time - AD and The Office (bbc, of course). Or the fact we used to walk around Lake Eola and dropped Estee off @ the cursed devil gym I used to work at? Or how we used to wear like 5 layers when it was about 60 degrees out? AND how I learned to be challenged by God and the beginnings of a great bible study that was a little drama here and there, but it def was a good time. Publix Subs. Shinny Shirts. The Social. Downtown. Random people who want to be our friends at the beach who are kind of creepy. OH, and let's not forget the breastfeeding debate? OR the HORRIBLE "retreat" like conversations over a certain "friend" that lasted FOREVER (slap me know)......okay, I'm tearing up.......i'll write more later :) he he!
wait, i just realized you will have a top 10 of people? OH the 409/foxy ladies BETTER be on that list....or friendship over!
