A) It will seem to the outside world that I am indeed, productive.
B) It will encourage me to actually finish the project.
C) My woodworking and craft skills will be revealed as a hoax, finally.
D) There's a slight chance you'll be impressed and want me to make one for you at a steep, artsy price.
The Project
A table or desk made from old windows. Complete with rustic, worn look to make you think of the old days and long for the simple times when life was only about staring out badly painted frames and dirty panes on a rainiy afternoon.
The First Step
While driving to Tootie's Restaurant, I past a yard full of removed windows. That's when the vision reappered to me. So, I finished my trip to lunch, came back home, grabbed my co-crafter and went and "stole" the windows.

These windows are brushed clean now and awaiting the next steps: a clear coat, glass reinforcement, and glass cleaning.
..........................................................
Other things a Tuesday in Bristol will offer:

These guys live in a small koi pond outside the kitchen windows. They sing at night, a chorus both appreciated and taken for granted

This Snow Goose Cherry is in our neighbors yard. It is kind of amazing looking.

This little guy has been here since I got here last month. I didn't think he'd hang around that long after I showed up. Quite the opposite has happened. He seems to be here to stay. He enjoys the following: Smiling, biting his tongue, crying during movies, going to sleep very late at night, falling down stairs into buckets of old fire ash, pulling himself up on anything slightly taller than he is, being held, grunting, wrestling both his pops and buck, chewing on anything, and of course his uncle.
Although there is no visual proof, a Tuesday evening will also offer a loosening up and a two hour bluegrass jam session. Related to that, I am getting better on banjo. Yeah, I'll brag a minute.
