Energy is Power

Here's a logo I'm working on for a utilities company in my area. Option are trimmed down when you discount the price of work you're doing, but I'd like to see what you think about these designs. Colors aren't determined yet. I like to get the design direction in order before confusing the client with colors.
Also, let me know if any of these look familiar. I refuse knockoffs.
