I've had the urge to take advantage of these last warm days and get outside and be active. Last weekend, Cara and I drove up to Whitetop Mountain, walked down to lover's leap lookout and over to buzzard rock. The view is 360 degrees of beauty.

The trip was made even better by getting trek around with someone who is even more stunning than these mountain views.

Just today, Cara and I again ventured out to the Virginia Creeper Trail to spin up cinder on one nice mountain bike and one heavy, straining mountain "bike". The creek that the trail follows during this section of the trail is so clear and cold. We rode for about 2 miles before I could no longer resist going for a wade.

You will have to save that picture from up near buzzard rock. Buzzard Rock was one of the first places JJ took me and we have the picture to prove it. This year we went searching for the same spot so we could make a 30 year anniversary photo. It was much fun.
